On the 13th of May, 44 days ago, there had been a series of 9 blasts which had ripped the heart of the Pink city of Jaipur. 69 people had died and more than 150 had been wounded. But though many wounds have healed there are victims who will never be able to overcome the loss of these simultaneous blasts.
Even a slight condolence of getting the accused or identifying the blasters has failed. There are no investigation leads which will reveal any sources of this massacre. Jaipur is not alone to suffer this fate. Even the cities of Varanasi and Hyderabad culprits are still roaming around freely. The heat of moment fades away and the public also shifts its attention and moves on to deal with regular life.
Despite the constant assurances of the Jaipur police trying their level best no solution is being reached. There have been more than 8000 who have been questioned and endless other through phones and overseas means. They also suspect that the killer might be one of them. The sleuths who have clues from the sites of the blast say that they are on the trail but an immediate breakthrough is not expected yet. The Rajasthan police had initially sifted through the blast areas quickly and got praise for the same.
There were some cycles that had bombs on them and their suspect had been the HuJI which is based in Bangladesh and was also suspected for terror attacks in Lucknow and Varanasi. But the clues which have been gathered from the unexploded sites reveal different leads and have been helpful in investigation. But with the passage of time most of the clues and suggestions had been proved useless and the theories did not lead anywhere. All attempts by the police have seemed to be futile. Even the sketches revealed by eye witnesses have not led anywhere.
There had been a Bharatpur cleric who had been arrested on fake passport charges and money from the Middle East countries but even that clue proved to have nothing with the blast case. Now the Rajasthan police is working with Special Forces of Andhra Pradesh, UP and Maharashtra where previous attacks had taken place. Teams from these forces had been checking the blast sites in Jaipur. There are too many complications and false leads in the case and despite the combined attempts of the police force the attackers have still not been found.
